The installed programs are visible by scrolling up or down in a single column.
The installed programs are visible in multiple columns by default.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\] , right-click in the open area to create a String Value with the name "StartMenuScrollPrograms" in "Advanced" key.
Next, right-click on "StartMenuScrollPrograms" and click on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the value "Yes" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
