Determine core information of the second CPU detected in your computer.

This setting displays general information about your second CPU in case you have dual processor or multiprocessor system. The displayed information includes processor name, processor speed etc.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
The CPU information of your computer can be retrieved with this setting. It gives basic information of your second CPU in case you have dual processor or multiprocessor system. With this setting, you can know the processor name, processor speed, identify processor family, including identifying the vendor of the second CPU. Additionally, you can access information of Floating Point Processor.

Important:
In the below given registry path, “1” refers to the second physical CPU or the second logical CPU in your system, if you have dual processors or multiprocessors on your system.

For this, go to Start > Run, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. The CPU information is listed in the right panel of the registry editor window.

NOTE:
The registry in Windows 98 contains only few of the below given Value Names.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit"

Next, go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\Description\System\CentralProcessor\1\], to view "CentralProcessor" information regarding the second CPU detected on your system.

Then, go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\Description\System\FloatingPointProcessor\1\] , to view the "FloatingPointProcessor" information of second CPU.

Determine core information of the CPU in your computer.

This setting displays general information about your CPU that includes processor name, processor speed etc.

Determine core information of the third CPU detected in your computer.

Category : Hardware > CPU

This setting displays general information about your third CPU in case you have multi-core processor system. The displayed information includes processor name, processor speed etc.

This setting allows you to manage how the system processor should prioritize foreground and background tasks.
